Mid Century Modern Coffee Table with Drawer
Mid century modern coffee table also adds a decorative touch to every home. This article goes through step-by-step instructions on building a 4-foot wooden coffee table with storage box with a pair of carpentry tools, plywood, bets or paint and hardware. Construct your table, collect the five 2-times-4 discs for the frame. Place the two 2-inch-9-inch long sections with the short sides on the floor, parallel to each other 4 meters apart. Place 4-foot long pieces on one side of them to form three sides of a rectangle. Screw the frame together by driving two 2 1/2 inch screws through the end of the longer bit into shorter. You now have three sides of a 4-foot-long-of -3-feet full rectangle.
Screw a 5-inch play on the open side of the frame to each end of the short sides as a 5-foot bit. Run two 2 1/2 inch screws at the end of each 5-inch piece into 2-foot -9-inch pieces. You now have a 3-foot -2-inch space in the center of this page for the box. Put piece of plywood without the slots over the frame and align it up. Attach this piece by running a 1/2 inch screws down through it every 6 inches around the edges of the three sides of the frame. This is top of the table.
Turn the finished section over. Attach four pieces of 2-foot 4-through-4 in each inner corner of the frame of the legs. Put a 4-times-4-piece at the end against each corner inside and drive 2 1/2 inch screws through the frame into them. Use two screws on each side of the frame that touches each leg. Put tracked plywood in between the legs above the frame.
